How educational leaders might use blogs?

Blogs...I can remember when the best collection of resources a school district could have came in the weekly van from the ESC.  A huge catalogue was published and educators went through a process to "check them out" through the service center.  And, boy, were we ever glad to have them.
Blogs can serve a similar purpose for educational leaders.  In the blog a leader can post links to resources and contact information so that their colleagues can access the information in a universally available platform. But instead of this platform being uni-directional, the coworkers can comment and provide feedback, updates, and information regarding the shared resources.  I will be implementing this platform for the elementary mathematics teachers in my district.

  1. I remember those days too. When Region 20 ( I lived in Sa) would be the place we would look for guidance etc. Now there are so many options and its up to the leader to decide what we will use, for how long and why. I look forward to seeing how you will use it with Math.
